This is the Spiky Star. I love the sharp, crisp points.This is a VERY easy figure to make, so it's a good one for kids to try. It makes a nice hanging ornament (with a little tape to secure the pieces together) - I'm thinking red & green for a Christmas ornament, red white & blue for a July 4th star, pastels for an Easter wreath, etc. Instructions can be found at:

Rachel Katz's website is worth exploring for other fun and easy folding projects to do with little ones. It is also worth checking out to see a picture of the creator of the website. She looks like a nice person, plus I love her blouse.
